Dialpad's desktop app and web portal are designed to live at the center of your business communications, and we're always rolling out product updates containing new features, improvements and bug fixes.
Be sure to update your desktop app, or visit Dialpad's web portal to take advantage of our latest improvements.
Let's take a look at what's new from our most recent release on September 4, 2026.
Improvements
View voice and digital data in one dashboard
Monitor voice and digital activity together in the redesigned Omnichannel Real Time Analytics dashboard. Track agent states, custom break times, sub-statuses, and participant details in real time.
Get WFM alerts by email
Send out-of-adherence, time-in-status, and shift attendance alerts directly to your inbox by selecting the email option when configuring alerts.
Adjust queue priority over time
Rank Contact Centers from 1–1,000 for shared agents and automatically increase call priority over time. This helps prevent lower-priority queues from being continually passed over. You can also use the preview graph to see how priorities will change before saving.
Reduce notification noise with smarter badges
Badge counts now appear only for active Contact Centers. Unread alerts from inactive or Do Not Disturb (DND) Contact Centers are excluded until they're active again.
Sync Outlook schedules with WFM
Connect a dedicated Outlook mailbox to Dialpad WFM to automatically sync agent schedules. Meeting updates, cancellations, and rescheduled events are reflected in WFM in real time.
Add extensions to departments without a DID
Assign extensions to departments without needing a dedicated direct inward dial (DID) phone number.
Delay voicemail prompts in hold queues
You can now wait until the second round of hold queue announcements before playing the option to exit the queue and leave a voicemail.
Find and test failover settings more easily
We've made Office Failover easier to navigate and test. Admins can search by entity name or Dialpad number, see Dialpad numbers in the failover list, and use clearer warnings and controls to help avoid unintended changes to call routing.
Get notified when you're talking on mute
Dialpad Meetings now detects when you're speaking while muted and displays a notification, so you can quickly unmute and continue the conversation.
Bring more Dialpad Meetings insights into Salesforce
Log Dialpad Meetings as dedicated Salesforce records instead of Tasks. Meeting records can include meeting details, AI-generated summaries, action items, recording links, and CRM associations for easier reporting and customer visibility.
View clearer credit card invoices
Credit card invoices now have a refreshed layout with a clear Billing Summary, including Total Balance Due, Due Date, Credits Applied, and Total Tax. You'll also see clearer parent-child relationships between user licenses and add-ons, along with updated Dialpad branding.
Manage plans, licenses, and costs in one place
The Billing Summary page gives you one place to manage billing details. The redesigned Overview tab shows your active plan, an estimated cost for the current billing period, and a breakdown of licenses, add-ons, subtotals, and promotions. You can also manage licenses directly from this page.
Critical bug fixes
Google contacts bug
Some users reported that inbound calls from synced Google Contacts created a new local contact instead of matching the existing contact. This has been fixed!
Live dashboard bug
A few users reported that the Live Dashboard showed incorrect counts for agents occupied and agents available. We've fixed this.
Other improvements
We've also fixed some minor bugs and behind-the-scenes functionality, improving your overall experience with Dialpad.
Happy Dialing!
