With Voice Intelligence (or 'Vi') assistance, never scramble to take a note or lose track of your action items after a call. Everything you need is displayed in a post-call summary that includes items like:
Turn on Vi
If Vi is allowed in your office, you can turn Vi on and off during your calls by clicking the Vi enabled/disabled button on your active call screen.
To further customize your Vi experience for personal calls, navigate to Dialpad.com > Your Profile > Voice Intelligence.
Here you are presented with two Vi options that you can enable or disable:
- Auto start Vi (for your calls)
- If you know you want Vi on for all your calls, enable this setting so that you don't have to turn Vi on manually each time
- Show real-time transcript at the start of a call or conference
- If you'd like your real-time transcript open by default when your call starts, enable this setting
Need to follow up on something after your call? Leave pens and notebooks behind and opt for Vi Assistance.
No need to say “action item” or “next steps” for Vi to capture and display within your post-call summary view. The Action Item feature will automatically detect, surface, and allow users to record any action items mentioned on calls.
Just navigate to your specific conversation thread and select View Call to display any mentioned Action Items.
Don't miss an important moment again—with the snippet feature, Voice Intelligence captures key moments in your conversation for you to revisit later.
Just select the Snippet icon on your active call screen when you need to snip a part of your audio. Voice Intelligence will automatically grab that piece of your call and attach it to your post-call summary.
From the time you select Snippet, Vi will capture 10 seconds before that moment and 10 seconds after that moment.
After your call completes, you'll be able to toggle over to the post-call summary to see a log of your entire conversation.
Just select View Call in your specific conversation thread to display your post-call summary, including your transcript, action items, snippets, and notes.
Need to share just a piece of your conversation? No problem! Just hover over the transcript and click on Forward.
Get insight into how many times keywords are said on your calls by searching for them across your transcripts.
