We're always rolling out product updates with new features and capabilities to ensure you get the most out of Dialpad.
Dialpad's desktop app and web portal are designed to live at the center of your business communications — be sure to update your desktop app, or visit Dialpad's web portal to take advantage of our latest improvements.
Let's take a look at what's new from our most recent release on September 26th, 2023.
You'll also discover some bug fixes to improve reliability.
Dialpad Ai PII Redaction | We have launched an Early Adopter Program for Personally Identifiable Information (PII) redaction wherein our Dialpad Ai detects sensitive information and removes it while keeping the rest of the contact intact. Redacted data is limited to credit cards, CVV or SSN (US) / SIN (CA), and any unrecognized sequence of numbers of 4 or more.
SMS delivery receipt | We're now offering delivery receipts to let you know if your message was successfully sent, or if there was a hiccup and you need to try again.
Additional settings for agent call data access | We've added more options to customize what call data your Agents and Operators can access on their assigned shared lines. Choose to let them access (and delete) recordings and transcripts for their own calls, for all calls on the shared line, or block access entirely.
Critical bug fixes
Missing voicemail button | Some users noticed that the transfer to voicemail button was missing when doing an 'ask first' transfer. This has been fixed!
Contact center dashboard not updating | A select number of users reported that Multiple Contact Center Dashboard data was not updating correctly. We've fixed this.
App crashes after blocking/marking a contact as spam | A few users reported that their app crashes when blocking a contact. This has been fixed!
We've also fixed some minor bugs, improving your overall Dialpad experience.
