    Let's take a look at what's new from our most recent release on August 06, 2024.

    New

    Multi-factor Authentication

    We're excited to introduce Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) for open-signup users. This Early Adopter Program provides an extra layer of security to your account, reducing the risk of fraud and compromised accounts by requiring multiple methods to verify your identity.

    Improvement

    Custom status deletion

    You can now easily manage your custom status listings. Delete old custom statuses from the drop-down menu, helping you keep your list organized and up-to-date.

    User deletion improvement

    When deleting a user , the prompt box will now show the user's full name and email address. This helps ensure you're selecting the correct user, reducing the chance of accidental deletion.

    Critical bug fixes

    Stuck on a call bug

    Some users reported that they got stuck on a Contact Center call after transferring the call. This has been fixed!

    Local presence bug

    A few users reported that they were unable to use local presence when dialing out. We've fixed this.

    Holiday deletion bug 

    Some users reported that after deleting an office holiday, it continued to appear in the list of office holidays. This has been fixed!

    Other improvements

    We've also fixed some minor bugs and behind-the-scenes functionality, improving your overall experience with Dialpad.
