Want to make your meetings more collaborative and ensure comprehension from all participants?
Dialpad Meetings allows you to share your screen with all meeting Participants, either your entire screen or just a single tab.
Let's take a look at sharing your screen in Dialpad Meetings.
Start a Screen Share
To share your screen during an active meeting, select the Share Screen Icon from your Meeting's bottom bar.
- Choose what you'd like to share
- Entire Screen
- Application Windo
- Specific Tab
- Select Share
While sharing a screen, you'll see an alert in the top-right corner indicating your screenshare is active.
If you're using dual monitors, you'll need to also select the screen to share by scrolling down in the pop-up.
Stop Sharing Your Screen
There are two ways to stop sharing your screen.
- Selecting the Screen Share icon again
- Select Stop Sharing from the live screen share indicator
Share Audio During Screen Share
Imagine sharing your screen during a presentation with a large audience. You play a demo video from one of the slides, and even though the participants can see the video, they can’t hear the audio. Or, the audio quality is muffled because you're trying to position the mic in just the right way so that it can pick up sounds from the video.
Not to worry, Dialpad allows you to share system audio with your audience, as long as you're using the Browser app and not the Dialpad Meetings desktop app.
To share your screen's audio during a screenshare:
- Click the Share your screen icon located in the bottom toolbar
- Click the Share tab audio checkbox at the bottom left
When sharing a browser window or tab, the audio that's playing will be streamed along with the screen you're sharing.
