With call parking, calls that come into your Dialpad lines can be parked on your Main Line (i.e. placed on hold) for any other team member to claim. An Office can park up to 50 calls at a time on their Main Line.
Let's take a look at parking a call in Dialpad.
Park a Call — Desktop
From the Dialpad app during an active call, select Park.
Dialpad will then park the call on the Main Line for any other team member to claim.
You're able to resume a normal workflow in Dialpad after parking a call.
Unpark a Call — Desktop
From the Dialpad app, choose the Main Line in your list of Departments and select Parked > Take Call.
In the list of parked calls, you'll see the caller ID, who parked the call, and the time at which the call was parked.
