    Article Summary

The content discusses frequently asked questions about managing settings in Dialpad and Dialpad Meetings. It clarifies that both platforms allow users to access and manage personal and team settings for Dialpad Meetings. It states that launching a Dialpad Meetings window is not automatic when dialing a Dialpad Meetings number from the Dialpad dialer. Transferring an active call from Dialpad to Dialpad Meetings is possible, but users need to dial into the conference again. Users do not need to be logged into Dialpad Meetings before launching it through Dialpad as login tokens take care of that. Audio settings in Dialpad Meetings inherit the settings used in Dialpad, but adjustments can be made within the active conference screen. Different Dialpad Meetings accounts can be linked to a Dialpad account by contacting support. The integration between Dialpad and Dialpad Meetings does not affect the license count on the Admin page. The integration is currently only available in the United States and Canada, but international conference numbers are available for Dialpad Meetings Business customers as a standalone product. Legacy flex license plan users need to transition to utilize the integration.

Don't worry, you're not the first to have these thoughts! Let's get into the details of the most commonly asked questions.

What settings do I manage in Dialpad vs Dialpad Meetings?

Both Dialpad and Dialpad Meetings allow you to access and manage personal and team settings for Dialpad Meetings.

If I dial a Dialpad Meetings number from my Dialpad dialer, will it launch the Dialpad Meetings window?

No, you'll only see the launched Dialpad Meetings window if you join via the meeting card or your profile drop-down.

Can I transfer an active call from Dialpad to Dialpad Meetings?

Yes, but you'll have to dial into your conference again (since the call has been transferred to that line). Just search for your Dialpad Meetings within your transfer screen to complete the action.

Do I have to be logged into Dialpad Meetings before I can launch it through Dialpad?

Nope! We'll take care of that for you via login token.

Where is my audio controlled: in Dialpad or Dialpad Meetings?

Dialpad Meetings will inherit whatever audio settings you're using in Dialpad. Once you're in your active conference, however, you can adjust your settings via your active conference screen.

Absolutely! Just reach out to our Support Team with the account that you'd like to link.

I synced my team but I didn't see my Dialpad Meetings license count change — why?

Integrating Dialpad Meetings with Dialpad won't affect your Dialpad Meetings license count on your Admin page.

This license count only changes when you purchase or assign Dialpad Meetings Business licenses.

Does this integration work with international Offices?

The Dialpad Meetings' integration in Dialpad is currently only available in the United States and Canada.

We do, however, have international conference numbers available for Dialpad Meetings Business customers as a standalone product. Contact our Sales Team to learn more.

If you're on a legacy flex license plan, you won't be able to utilize the integration until you transition to current license billing. To make this transition, reach out to our Support Team.
