Remove or Reassign a Desk Phone

Remove a DeskPhone

To remove a deskphone from either a team member or a shared room, Dialpad Administrators can navigate to > Admin Settings > Office > Deskphones 

Once you've located the phone (either under User Phones or Room Phones), select Remove to finalize. 


Reassign a User Phone

  1. Follow the steps outlined above to remove the phone
  2. Power cycle the deskphone
  3. After the phone comes back online, click Add User Phone
  4. Follow the same provisioning steps as before


Reassign a Room Phone

  1. After pulling up the phone from search, select Edit
  2. Select a different caller ID from the drop-down menu
