External End-of-Life Notice for OBiTALK

On October 31, 2024, Dialpad will no longer have access to the OBiTALK web portal or the configuration utility for managing OBi devices.
The OBi 3xx series and OBi 1000 series phones, which are part of the OBiTALK product line, reached their end of life in early 2022.

Dialpad does not anticipate major issues or changes to devices registered with our service.
How will this impact my current OBi devices?
Provisioning for the OBi 3xx and OBi 1000 series phones will need to be completed by the Dialpad Support team, rather than through the previous voice activation method that relied on OBiTALK.
Dialpad’s support for the older OBi 1000 series phones and OBi 3xx ATAs will be limited.
Should I change devices?
Dialpad cannot guarantee successful manual configuration and activation for the OBi 1000 series phones and OBi 3xx ATAs. Therefore, we strongly recommend users transition to devices fully supported by Dialpad for an optimal experience.
Dialpad will continue to sell and support the Poly VVX OBi phones, ensuring users have access to dependable devices.
