    Who can use this

    To assign a delegate, you'll need a Dialpad Meetings Business license.

    Delegated userscan be on either a Business or Free license.

    How to assign a delegate

    To assign a a delegate to your Dialpad Meetings account, go to your Dialpad Meetings dashboard.

    1. Select Menu

    2. Select Account

    3. Navigate to Delegates

    4. Select Add delegate

    5. Enter the email address of the person you want to connect accounts with

    6. Select Add

    Dialpad Meetings will send an email confirmation to your delegate, and you’ll see the connection under the Delegates section.

    Switch profile

    Once you’ve been assigned as a delegate, you can switch between your profile and your delegates' account.

    To log on with your delegates’ profile, head to your Dialpad Meetings dashboard.

    1. Select Menu

    2. Select Delegates

    3. Select the user you want to log in as

    Linked users can hover over their profile picture and select Delegates in the pop-up menu to switch.

    Note

    Even though the accounts are connected, delegated users cannot change your Dialpad Meetings password, access your payment method or history, or add other linked users to the account.

    Remove a delegate

    To remove a delegated user, go to your Dialpad Meetings Dashboard.

    1. Select Menu

    2. Select Account

    3. Navigate to Delegates

    4. Select Remove beside your the delegate you want to to remove

    Meeting delegation

    Once the accounts are linked, Executives Assistants (EAs) can also schedule meetings for their delegated user via the Dialpad Meetings Google Calendar Add-on.

    One-click scheduling ensures the correct meeting room link is provided every single time, but also lets the EA manage the meeting as the organizer.
