    Article summary

Dialpad offers an Executive Assistant Pairing feature allowing tasks delegation like call handling, meeting scheduling, and call screening. Users and admins can create pairings, with assistants accepting calls on behalf of executives. Admins can add pairings through settings, while users can request to be assistants. The feature works on all Dialpad devices, is included in all plans, allows up to 25 pairings per plan, and permits multiple assistants per executive. Assistants' actions on calls do not affect executives' access to interactions.

Do you have an Executive Assistant? With Dialpad's Executive Assistant (EA) Pairing feature, you can delegate tasks like handling incoming calls, scheduling meetings, managing call volumes, and screening calls to a trusted team member.

    Let's dive into the details.

    Who can use this

Executive Assistant pairings are available to Dialpad Connect and Dialpad Sell users.

*If you're on a mixed license account, users with a Support license cannot be a part of an Executive Assistant pairing.

    How executive pairings work

Both users and admins can create Executive Assistant pairings.

Once an Executive Assistant pairing is made, the user designated as an assistant can accept calls on the executive's behalf (for calls to their direct line only).

Who can create an EA pairing
Users can accept or decline requests to become an Executive or an EA for themselves, while Admins have the ability to create pairings for anyone in the company.
