    Dialpad allows admins to set business hours for their main line, departments, and contact centers.     Dialpad lets you set business hours for your main line, departments, and contact centers in addition to Personal Working Hours. You just need to be an admin, and then you're ready to set normal or split business hours.

    Who can use this feature
    Setting business hours for your shared lines is available to Dialpad Ai Voice, Ai Sales, and Contact Center customers on all plans.

    Set normal business hours

    To set your standard business hours, head to your Admin Settings from Dialpad.com 

    1. Navigate to the main line, department, or contact center where you'd like to set business hours
    2. Navigate to Business Hours & Call Handling
    3. Choose when you want to receive calls
      • Always take calls (24/7)
      • Only during specific hours
    4.  Set timezone
    5. Select Edit Hours
    6. Choose the hours during which operators or agents will receive calls
      • Set an opening time and a closing time
      • Select the desired days 
    7. Select Update

    Set split business hours

    To set split business hours, head to your Admin Settings from Dialpad.com 

    1. Navigate to the main line, department, or contact center where you'd like to set business hours
    2. Navigate to Business Hours & Call Handling
    3. Select Edit Hours
    4. Choose the hours during which operators or agents will receive calls
      • Set an opening and a closing time
      • Select the desired days 
    5. Select + Add Hours
    6. Enter the desired hours
    7. Select Update

    Each day can include up to four unique periods of availability, and they can be applied to multiple days or tailored for different days based on your needs.
