    Manage a Company Dictionary

    Dialpad offers a company dictionary feature to improve the accuracy of transcripts. Company admins can add and remove keywords to the dictionary through the Admin Settings on To add a keyword, they need to select "My Company," then "Company Settings," and navigate to "Company Dictionary." They can enter the keyword, category, and pronunciation hint before adding it. Keywords cannot be edited; they must be deleted and re-added for updates. It may take 7-10 days for a keyword to be implemented. Bulk uploading of keywords is not possible; each keyword must be entered individually. There is no limit to the number of keywords that can be included in the company dictionary.

    Who can use this feature
    Dialpad Ai and its capabilities described below are available to all Dialpad customers on the Standard, Pro, and Enterprise plans.

    It is only available for Offices in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Australia,  New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Spain.

    Company Admins are able to view and edit a Company Dictionary.

    Add a keyword

    Company Admins can add and remove keywords to their Company Dictionary.

    To add a keyword, head to your Admin Settings at

    1. Select My Company
    2. Select Company Settings
    3. Navigate to Company Dictionary
    4. Select Add a keyword
    5. Enter the keyword, category & pronunciation hint
    6. Select Add Keyword

    Delete a keyword

    To delete a Keyword, head to your Company Dictionary.

    Select Delete beside the Keyword you want to delete.

    Can I edit keywords?

    No. To update a keyword you will need to delete and add a new keyword.

    Why don't I see my keyword right away?

    It can take 7 - 10 days for your keyword to be implemented.
