Dialpad has released new updates for its desktop app and web portal, offering new features, improvements, and bug fixes. The latest release includes the introduction of Ai Agent Assist, a virtual assistant for contact center agents that provides quick and accurate answers to their questions. This feature aims to enhance customer service by reducing resolution times and increasing agent productivity. Additionally, Dialpad now displays the specific office associated with each number in the user's section. Users can also set a delay greeting time of 30 seconds to keep callers engaged while waiting in the hold queue. The release also addresses critical bug fixes related to password changes, blocking contacts, and role permission updates. Overall, these updates aim to improve the user experience with Dialpad's communication platform.

Ai Agent Assist
We’re thrilled to announce Ai Agent Assist, a next-generation virtual assistant for contact center agents that puts knowledge at their fingertips.
Harnessing the power of Dialpad's advanced semantic search capabilities and Generative AI, Ai Agent Assist delivers on-demand, natural answers to agent questions so they can offer faster, more effective service. This translates into shorter resolution times, more productive agents, and improved customer satisfaction.
This is the 9th offering in Dialpad’s 12 Months of Ai product series and signup for this feature is now open!
Improvement
Reserve number office identification
Your reserved number section now shows which specific office the number was associated with.
Delay greeting time
You can now set a delay greeting for 30 seconds to keep callers active while they wait in the hold queue.
Critical bug fixes
Password bug
Some users reported that they could change their Dialpad password without meeting the password requirements. This has been fixed!
Block a contact bug
A few users reported that they were logged out, and the app was rebooted when they tried to block a contact or mark it as spam. We've fixed this.
Role permission bug
Some users reported that role permissions weren't updating correctly when removed. This has been fixed!
Other improvements
We've also fixed some minor bugs and behind-the-scenes functionality, improving your overall experience with Dialpad.
