    Article summary

Presence icons in Dialpad provide a visual representation of a user's availability and status. The icons are displayed next to the user's avatar in the Dialpad App and on the left-hand sidebar in the Favorites and Recents sections. The colors of the presence icons indicate different statuses, such as green for available, red for unavailable or on a call, and yellow for busy or in a meeting. The red presence icon can have multiple meanings, including "Do Not Disturb," "on a call," or "in a Dialpad Meeting." The presence icons can be synced with your calendar to automatically update your status based on your meetings or activities. In Call Centers, being in a meeting is shown as red instead of yellow. External Dialpad users from outside your company will always appear as green.

Presence icons provide a simple visual reference of a user's current availability and status. This makes it easy to tell if someone is in a meeting, on a call, in Do Not Disturb, or available.

    Let's dive into the details.

    Who can use this feature
Presence Icons are available to all Dialpad Users on all plans.
