Dialpad's desktop app and web portal are designed to live at the center of your business communications, and we're always rolling out product updates containing new features, improvements and bug fixes.

Let's take a look at what's new from our most recent release on Sept 17, 2024.
New
Add-to-channel option when mentioning users in channels
You now have an option to Invite, Add, or Do nothing when mentioning users to channels they aren't part of. This helps prevent accidentally adding users to private channels automatically.
Multi-factor authentication
Previously in an Early Adopter Program, Dialpad’s simple, yet highly effective, multi-factor authentication (MFA) solution is now available to all Dialpad users. MFAreduces the possibility of fraud and compromised accounts by requiring users to authenticate their identity with multiple methods.
Improvements
Longer wait time for Contact Center queues
In order to improve customer experience and facilitate effective call overflow to other shared lines, Contact Centers now have a maximum queue time of 10 seconds.
Search for Coaching Teams
We've added an in-app search function Coaching Teams, allowing Coaches and Admins to find specific teams by name.
Critical bug fixes
Monitor all Contact Center bug
Some users reported that the agents tab kept resetting while scrolling, preventing them from seeing the full list of agents. This has been fixed!
Clone holiday bug
A few users reported that they were unable to clone a holiday. We've fixed this.
Delete SMS registration bug
Some users reported that they were unable to delete their SMS registration. This has been fixed!
Other improvements
We've also fixed some minor bugs and behind-the-scenes functionality, improving your overall experience with Dialpad.
