We're always rolling out updates containing new features and security updates to ensure you have the best possible Dialpad experience. Let's take a look at an important change coming soon.
Who does this apply to?
This update applies to all Dialpad users.
What is changing and why?
In June 2025, Dialpad will be updating the IP addresses it uses to enhance the reliability and scalability of our infrastructure.
This change will improve the efficiency of future updates and ensure that your service continues to run smoothly and without interruptions.
Current IP | New IPs |
170.10.222.20 | 170.10.222.18 (Dialpad) 170.10.222.102 (Dialpad Meetings |
Do I have to do anything?
It depends on your firewall configuration.
For most users, no action is required, and this change will not affect your setup.
If your firewall is restricted to Dialpad’s old IP address, you will need to update your settings.
If you’ve applied such restrictions, please add the above-mentioned addresses to your firewall to ensure uninterrupted access to dialpad.com and meetings.dialpad.com
Important
Do not remove Dialpad’s old IP address from your firewall configuration.
How can I see if I am affected?
Every network setup is different. Dialpad advises working with your IT team to ensure that the new IP address works across all networks your employees use for Dialpad.
To test the new IP on your system:
Open a browser on a device connected to the network where access needs to be tested
If you see the success message, your configuration is set correctly.
If the test fails, you’ll need to whitelist our IPv4 addresses.
You can also verify that the host iptest.dialpad.com IP correctly resolves to the new additional IP using the following:
$ dig +noall +answer iptest.dialpad.com
You should see the following response:
iptest.dialpad.com. 63 IN A 170.10.222.18
When will this be released?
These new IPv4 addresses will service production requests after June 1, 2025.
For testing purposes, the address is available now, but will only respond to requests to "iptest.dialpad.com"
