Help Center Banner(5)We’re on a mission to transform how the world works together, and our team works around the clock designing groundbreaking, truly unified products — all powered by the most advanced communications Ai in the world!

We're always rolling out product updates containing feature improvements, and we're making some major changes to our Manual Sync Contacts features.

Who will this impact?

All Dialpad users who manually sync their contacts using productivity suites such as G-Suite and Office 365 or email services such as Hotmail, Exchange, or Outlook.

What is changing and why?

We're changing how contact sources sync with Dialpad.

As part of these changes, syncing contacts from email services such as Hotmail, Exchange, or Outlook will no longer be supported. Instead, Google and Microsoft will serve as the only supported sources for remote contact syncing.

Once these changes take effect, any existing contact sources will automatically disconnect and to continue syncing your contacts, simply reconnect using either Google or Microsoft.

To sync your contacts with Google or Microsoft, head to Your Settings.

  1. Navigate to Contact Sources
Settings page showing contact sources and option to add a contact source.

  2. Select Add a contact source

  3. Select Office 365 contacts or Google contacts
Options to connect Office 365 and Google contacts for automatic syncing.

  4. Select Connect

When will this be released?

This feature was released in February, 2025.
