Activation
When phones are purchased from Dialpad, they come out of the box ready to be activated with Dialpad.
If a supported phone was purchased elsewhere, it can still be used with Dialpad, but additional setup steps might be required.

Generic SIP registration
It is unsupported, Dialpad will only validate the SIP credentials which are still valid for that device.
