    Article summary

We're always rolling out product updates with new features and capabilities to ensure you get the most out of Dialpad.

Dialpad's desktop app and web portal are designed to live at the center of your business communications — be sure to update your desktop app, or visit Dialpad's web portal to take advantage of our latest improvements.

Let's take a look at what's new from our most recent release on June 06, 2023.

You'll also discover some bug fixes to improve reliability.

New In-Queue Callback Setting | We've added a brand new setting that allows Agents to be called first before reaching out to a customer that requested a callback.

Agents will see the incoming call notification indicating it is a Callback request and when they answer the call they will hear “Connecting you to someone who requested a callback”

Our Call Breakdown analytics have also been updated to display this new feature.

Manual Contact Matching in Salesforce | We've added a new contact matching option in the Dialpad for Salesforce integration. When "Manual" contact matching is been enabled, Dialpad will always ask the user to confirm what entity (Contact, Lead, Account or Case) the call should be logged against in Salesforce.

Salesforce Update | Salesforce has issued a product update. There is no impact to how your Dialpad + Salesforce integrations function, however, if you have introduced a new domain name, you'll need to disconnect and re-establish

    Bug Fix

Comment Bug | Some users reported that they were unable to post comments while in the shared call summary view. We've fixed this by introducing a sign in button.

SMS Survey Glitch | A select group of users reported that their callers were not receiving an SMS Survey. We've fixed this issue.

Call Summary To/From Bug | Some users reported that the 'From/To' section of their Call Summary was not displaying in the Native app. That has been fixed.

    Other Improvements

We've also fixed some minor bugs, improving your overall experience with Dialpad.

    Happy Dialing!
