Unified Credit Pooling lets your company share one pool of credits across all offices.
Each office uses its included plan allowance first. If an office exceeds its allowance, the extra usage is covered by the shared company credit pool. This allows unused credits in one office to help cover usage in another while still keeping office-level usage reporting.
To enable Unified Credit Pooling, contact the Dialpad Customer Care team to enable this feature.
Let’s dive into the details.
Who can use this
Unified Credit Pool can be managed by Company or Office Admins and is available on all Dialpad plans.
Keep these things in mind before enabling Unified Credit Pooling:
Shared balance | All offices use the same credit pool after their included allowances are used. Heavy usage in one office can reduce the credits available to others. |
Reporting | Usage History lets you see which office used the credits. |
AI Agent Credits | AI Agent Credits aren't included in the shared pool. They stay assigned to the primary office. |
Note
Unified Credit Pooling only changes how credits are shared. It doesn't change your office settings or how users work in Dialpad.
How unified credit pooling works
Credits are used in this order:
Each office uses its included plan allowance.
When the allowance is exhausted, additional usage draws from the shared company credit pool.
Usage is still tracked by the office, even though all offices share the same balance.
Unified Credit Pooling doesn't change your existing office setup.
Each office keeps its own plans and add-ons.
Office configurations stay the same.
Billable services and included allowances remain unchanged.
Admins and end users continue using Dialpad as before.
With Unified Credit Pooling:

Frequently asked questions
Can I still see which office is using credits?
Yes. Although credits are shared, Usage History still shows which office generated each charge.
Can one office use all the shared credits?
Yes. Since all offices use the same shared pool, heavy usage in one office can reduce the credits available for others. Use Usage History to monitor usage by office.
Does Unified Credit Pooling change how my teams use Dialpad?
No. It only changes how credits are stored and consumed behind the scenes. Your users and admins continue using Dialpad as they normally would.
Are AI Agent Credits included in the shared pool?
No. AI Agent Credits remain separate from calling and messaging credits. They stay assigned to the primary office and aren't shared across offices.
