We’re on a mission to completely transform how the world works together and our team works around the clock designing groundbreaking, truly unified products — all powered by the most advanced communications Ai in the world!

We're always rolling out product updates containing feature improvements and we're excited to announce that Channel Threading, one of our most highly requested features, is coming in just a few weeks!

Where can I see these changes?
You'll see these improvements each time you use Dialpad messaging.

    Who will this impact?

Everyone! These enhancements will be visible to Dialpad users on all plans.

    What is changing and why?

Channels provide organization and clarity to remote collaboration, but when too many people are messaging at once, it can be hard to keep track of the conversation.

This is why Dialpad is adding threading to Channels, allowing you to engage in focused sub-conversations with select team members without cluttering up the main channel feed.

Threads are ideal for providing feedback on specific comments, retroactively adding more context to a discussion, or diving headfirst into a debate about your favorite ice cream.

We've added a new 'Threads' section on the left-hand app sidebar where you can easily view all of your threads, reply to the thread, mark a new message as read, or jump directly to the thread.

Hover over any Channel message to see the 'Reply in Thread' icon. Once a thread has been started, you'll see the number of threaded replies below the message.

    When will this be released?

Soon! This feature will be released by the end of July 2023.
