Dialpad's desktop app and web portal are designed to live at the center of your business communications, and we're always rolling out product updates containing new features, improvements and bug fixes.

Be sure to update your desktop app, or visit Dialpad's web portal to take advantage of our latest improvements.

Let's take a look at what's new from our most recent release on July 1, 2025.

New

SMS auto reply for shared lines

Set up SMS auto-replies for a shared line to send during specific times. Customize the message and timing to fit your needs, so customers always know what to expect, even outside business hours.

EAP Feature

This feature is currently in an Early Adopter Program. Please reach out to your Customer Success Manager for more information.

Skip voicemail option

Callers can now press '0' during your voicemail to reach a team or main line instead of leaving a message.

Screen pop custom objects in Salesforce

Custom objects now show up with screen pop in both Dialpad and Salesforce. Whether you’re using the CTI or the Dialpad app, incoming calls now trigger the related Salesforce record tied to the caller, so you’re never starting from scratch.

Improvements

Call forwarding on Yealink phones improvement

Yealink users can now easily set a call forwarding number right from their phone.

Hot desk improvement

Hot desking into a new phone will now keep you logged in on both phones, making it easier to move between workspaces without losing your setup.

Custom speed dials improvement

You can now add a custom speed dial without having to look up a contact first.

Critical bug fixes

Inbound calls bug

Some users reported issues where inbound calls dropped and the app froze. This has been fixed!

IVR workflow bug

A few users reported that unrecognized phrases in the speech IVR didn’t route calls to the default IVR as expected. We’ve fixed this.

Other improvements

We've also fixed some minor bugs and behind-the-scenes functionality, improving your overall experience with Dialpad.

Happy Dialing!
