Custom Analytics Report Views

Reporting is a key component of analytical data. Dialpad offers a range of reports to help you monitor agent and company productivity. Each report can have its views modified to suit your needs, and these views can be saved based on the configuration you want.

Who can use this

Custom Analytics report views are available to users on all Dialpad Connect, Dialpad Sell, and Dialpad Support licenses.

Report Views

A custom report view can be created using these default reports:

Agent productivity

View and track productivity metrics for each Contact Center to optimize performance.

Callbacks

Evaluate callback requests and fulfillment rates to understand service times and trends.

Power Dialer

Track and analyze your campaign's overall performance.

Queue Health

Track metrics like wait time and call handle time to improve queue flow and boost Contact Center efficiency.

Create a saved view

When you configure a default report in your analytics reports to suit your configuration, you can save the view for future reference.

To create a saved view of a report, head to your Dialpad Analytics Portal:

  1. Select Reports > Default reports

  2. Select a report

  3. In the report, apply filters and adjust columns, as desired

    A Modified label displays next to the report title, indicating changes have been made to the report.

  4. Select the Modified label next to the title and select Save new

  5. Enter a title and description for the saved view, then select Create

Access a saved view

To view a saved report, go to your Dialpad Analytics Portal and select Reports > My reports. Here, you’ll find a list of all your previously saved reports.

Modify a saved view

To modify the view of a saved report, go to your Dialpad Analytics Portal:

  1. Select Reports > My reports

  2. Open the saved report you wish to modify and make your desired changes to filters, columns, title, or description

    Modified displays next to the report title, indicating changes have been made to the report.

  3. Select the arrow next to the report title and select Update [report name]

Deleting a saved view

To delete a saved report view, go to your Dialpad Analytics Portal:

  1. Select Reports > My reports

  2. Locate the saved view you want to delete and select the Trash icon

    Note

    You can also open the report and select the Trash icon next to report title.

  3. In the confirmation window, select Delete

Auto-Save

Auto-Save automatically saves any changes you make to a default report. The next time you access that report, your custom configuration (including filters, widgets, and table columns) is preserved.

Note

Auto-Save is not available for "Saved Views." For these reports, you must manually confirm any changes you want to keep.

Frequently asked questions

Can I create multiple saved views for the same report?

Yes, you can create and name multiple saved views for the same report, allowing you to quickly switch between different analytical perspectives.

Do saved views impact the underlying data of the report?

No, saved views only customize how the report is displayed based on your chosen filters and columns; they do not alter the raw data.

Can I share my saved views with other users?

Currently, saved views are personal and are not directly shareable. Each user can create and manage their own saved views.

What happens if the data in the report changes after I've saved a view?

Your saved view updates to reflect the latest data while keeping your chosen filters and column selections.

Is there a limit to how many saved views I can create?

No, you can create as many saved views as you want.
