Frequently asked questions

I don't see my desired country noted as restricted, but it's not on your coverage list — can I get Dialpad service?

Possibly! Contact our Sales team for more information, the list in this article is not exhaustive and there's a good chance we can help!

What is a Geographic Number?

A geographic (GEO) number is a number with a local area code. These GEO numbers are a part of a country's internal numbering system that locals easily recognize.

What settings should I set when I travel internationally?

When traveling internationally, set your inbound and outbound mobile call settings to Enable HD Calling. Beyond avoiding spikes in charges from your carrier, other benefits of HD calling include:

  • WiFi calling when cell reception is spotty
  • Free international calling to other Dialpad users
  • Full access to call controls (hold, transfer, record, etc.)

Learn more about HD calling.

When do calling rates apply?

Calling rates apply if you are in an international office calling any other country outside your office designation.

You can always check our current rates at dialpad.com/rates.

Can I have an International Fax number?

We don't support international faxing yet.
