The backstory
We’re early Ai adopters. In 2018, we acquired TalkIQ with over four years of experience developing Ai technologies. Then we built the first Ai-powered customer communications platform and committed to non-stop innovation. Now Ai is baked into our product portfolio, and we’re more dedicated than ever to pushing the limits of what’s possible.
The problem
We’ve finally arrived at a time when everyone is shouting Ai from the rooftops—at the same time—which can be noisy and confusing.
The solution
To more intuitively convey what our products do, we’re dropping the word Ai from our core product portfolio (we won’t be removing “Ai” from the names of our Ai-powered features like Ai Recaps, Ai Scorecards, Ai CSAT, etc.). Our goal is to focus more on WHAT our products do for our customers instead of HOW they do it.
The result
Starting now, you’ll begin to see the following changes to our naming convention on our website, in emails or social media copy, and within each product user interface:
NEW: Dialpad Connect (formerly Dialpad Ai Voice)
An all-in-one customer communication platform with Ai that takes notes, delivers insights, and helps your team stay productive.
NEW: Dialpad Support (formerly Dialpad Ai Contact Center)
Cloud-based support and contact center solution with Ai that helps expedite onboarding, simplify coaching, and delight customers.
NEW: Dialpad Sell (formerly Dialpad Ai Sales)
Cloud-based sales outreach solution with Ai that automates playbooks, gives in-call coaching, and helps your team win.
The future
This minor brand update is intended to crystallize our messaging, more intuitively convey what our products do for our customers, and help us stand out in a space where everyone is claiming to have mastered the art of Ai.
As always, we’ll continue to invest heavily in Ai and design products that enable our customers to do their best work and deliver delight.
