We're always rolling out updates that contain new features and capabilities to ensure customers get the most of Dialpad.

Update your Android app to take advantage of the latest additions. You'll also discover some bug fixes to improve reliability. Dialpad's Android app is made to live at the center of your business communications while you are on-the-go.

Let's take a look at what's new in this Android app release for May 17, 2022.

New

STIR/SHAKEN Support

You will now see a checkmark next to phone numbers that have been verified according to the anti-spoofing STIR/SHAKEN standards.

This will appear on both inbound HD call notifications & on the active call screen.

Channel system feed notifications

When new channel members are added or removed from a channel in close succession, we now combine the Channel notification into a single feed update to reduce your channel noise. 

Critical bug fixes

• UI glitch | The Contact name in the Live call banner on the home screen was not displaying completely. This has been fixed.  
• New messages weren't appearing when a conversation is open and DND is toggled on. This has been fixed.
