Dialpad's desktop app and web portal are designed to live at the center of your business communications, and we're always rolling out product updates containing new features, improvements and bug fixes.

Be sure to update your desktop app, or visit Dialpad's web portal to take advantage of our latest improvements.

Let's take a look at what's new from our most recent release on September 25, 2026.

Improvements

Clearer CSV export rate-limit messages

We’ve improved SMS CSV exports to let you know when a rate limit has been reached, making it easier to understand why an export may not complete as expected.

More control over Caller ID selection

Admins can now designate in-app Caller ID selection through the User Settings Policy, giving them more control over which Caller IDs agents can select.

More control over call transcription greetings

Admins can now prevent users from selecting No Message as their personal call transcription greeting, helping ensure a greeting is played when required.

Clearer skill assignment limits

We’ve added a message letting admins know that up to 50 groups or offices can be selected when assigning or unassigning a skill.

Critical bug fixes

SMS notification bug

Some users reported that message notification sounds played inconsistently and notification bubbles sometimes disappeared. This has been fixed!

Holiday hours bug

Some users reported that they couldn't add a holiday to a Contact Center. We've fixed this.

CSV export bug

Some users reported that the Cost and Rate columns were missing from Credits and Usage CSV exports. This has been fixed!

Live transcription bug

Some users reported that Live Transcript didn't automatically open for inbound calls on macOS. We've fixed this.

Other improvements

We've also fixed some minor bugs and behind-the-scenes functionality, improving your overall experience with Dialpad.

Happy Dialing!
