Use the Dialpad Gmail Add-On

Gmail was built on the idea that email can be more intuitive, efficient, and useful. And now with the Dialpad Gmail Add-on, teams can combine the power of Gmail with their business communication platform to drive better connections in and outside their organization.

To get started, simply download the Dialpad Gmail Add-On from the G Suite Marketplace.

Note:
If you are the Google Admin, you may find the installation button is greyed out. Currently, Gmail is working on a solution to support domain-wide installations but has not shared an expected timeline for this.

Display Contact Info

After downloading the add-on, try launching it on a recent email thread to populate all the contacts currently saved in Dialpad as well as new contact numbers included in your email thread.

Make a Call

Click on any displayed contact to display an option to launch a new Dialpad call—no tab swapping, window minimizing, or lost productivity required.

Send a Message

Can’t talk at the moment? Select your contact’s name to pull up an option to send a text message.

Search through History

Need a quick rundown before hopping on a call or sending that next text? Select your contact’s name to display a History option where you’ll see a list of the latest conversations between you and your contact (calls and texts included).
