The "|1" allows click2call instead of click2click2call (where the Dialpad app dials the # automatically). This currently only works with Chrome.
Phone number formats can be anything as long as they're compatible with the Country format of the Dialpad Office.

Dialpad CTI does not support using multiple tabs. For the best experience, we recommend using the Dialpad Desktop App and Dialpad Everywhere.
