Call Forwarding

Call forwarding redirects incoming calls to a different phone number, ensuring calls are answered even when the primary phone number is unavailable or the user isn’t reachable at that number. It allows users to manage their calls and stay connected on the job.

Limitations

Please take note of some limitations of call forwarding:

  • Call forwarding is only available for user devices, room phones aren’t supported.

  • The call forwarding mechanism used on desk phones is independent from other routing of forwarding features available on the web and mobile clients.

  • Only the Always Forward mode is supported.

  • Only calls made to a user’s line will be forwarded. If the user is an operator in a Department, and forwarding is enabled for that user, calls to that Department aren’t forwarded.
