We're always rolling out updates that contain new features and capabilities to ensure customers get the most of Dialpad Meetings.

Launch Dialpad Meetings to take advantage of the latest additions. You'll also discover some bug fixes to improve reliability. Dialpad Meetings is made to live at the center of your business communications.

Let's take a look at what's new in this release for January 5, 2022.

    New

    New Feature

    Auto-Locking Meetings

If a meeting organizer manually unlocked a meeting, the platform would override that command and auto-lock it. We originally intended it to be a feature that would improve security, but realized it caused confusion. Now, when a room is manually unlocked, it stays that way.

    UI Improvements

    • No more self-view options during screenshare
The self-view option during screenshare has now been eliminated.
    • Uppercase country codes
In some rare cases where the country code had more than two characters, we were converting it to title case. Now, we'll show the country code in uppercase when there are less than four character. Otherwise, it'll appear in title case.

    Improvements and Fixes

    Critical bug fixes

    • When the Miro board was loaded in full-screen mode, it didn’t work properly — this has been resolved.
    • In the Filmstrip view, screenshare content was being cropped. It now fully loads.
    • Past conferences were not being deleted due to regression — this is now fixed.

    Other improvements

We've also fixed some minor bugs, improving your overall experience with Dialpad Meetings. Happy Dialing!
