If you send a substantial amount of outbound SMS, such as large companies, companies that use messaging for marketing, and companies that use Dialpad’s API to send SMS, you are likely to exceed the Campaign Registry’s message rate limits and daily caps on messages that are applied to basic messaging users. Companies that send more than 1000 messages per day and less or more than 1 message per second will find they need the additional flexibility that comes with registering as an advanced messaging campaign.
Here are the standardized use cases adopted by The Campaign Registry: You can ensure delivery of your messages by sub-dividing your company’s messaging into separate “use cases”, which identify the type of messages and purpose you expect to send from each phone number or set of phone numbers.
