This test simulates a complete outage, across a given office. Therefore, we recommend these tests be performed after business hours and only for limited periods of time, in order to minimize the impact on regular business activity.
How to Test
Navigate to the office you are testing > Office Settings > Failover
Navigate to the office mainline, department or call center of your choosing and click on the phone number you’d like to test failover routing. Note, enabling the failover testing will initiate the fail-over simulation immediately.
Here you can also configure your failover options if desired:
- No Failover
- Forward to a Number
- Send to Voicemail
- You can write out a message to be played to callers before they reach your voicemail
