Adding Local or Toll-Free Numbers in Dialpad

Adding toll-free numbers to your account is available on Standard plans and above

Learn how to add a local or toll-free numbers in Dialpad for your users, Main Line, Departments, or Call Centers.

Add a Local Number (Shared Lines)

To add a local number to your Main Line, Department or Call Queue navigate to the page settings and select Add a Number

From here you'll be able to:

  • Check how many local licenses you have 
  • Confirm the new # or select it from the Change menu 

Adding a local # to your Main Line, Department or Call Queue will incur an additional fee, either monthly or annually (depending on your billing cycle).

Add a Local Number (Users) 

To add a local number to your users: 

  1. Navigate to your Team page
  2. Navigate to the individual user or users 
  3. Select Manage Numbers from the drop-down menu 
  4. Select Add Number

Adding a local # to your users will incur an additional fee, either monthly or annually (depending on your billing cycle).

Add a Toll-Free Number

To add a toll-free number to your Main Line, Department or Call Queue navigate to the page settings and select Add a Number

From here you'll be able to:

  • Check how many toll-free licenses you have
  • Confirm the new # or select it from the Change menu

Adding a toll-free # to your Main Line, Department or Call Queue will incur an additional fee, either monthly or annually (depending on your billing cycle).
