Start and join meetings from anywhere. UberConference Free is standard, but Admins can upgrade their Dialpad users to UberConference Business and unlock additional capabilities.
Let's take a closer look at how to start and join a conference in Dialpad.
Start & Join a Conference (Organizer)
Call Button Drop-Down
From the Dialpad app, open the call button drop-down in the top-left corner and select Send Conference Invite.
You'll then enter the name or number of the person to invite.
Select Send to share the invite, then Join Call to launch the conference.
From the Dialpad app, open the profile drop-down in the top-right corner and select Start alongside your UberConference number.
UberConference opens in a new window; select Join Now to start the conference, then invite guests.
Conversation Thread View
From the Dialpad app, open a conversation and select the UberConference button.
Dialpad shares an invite to join in the conversation thread view, and UberConference opens in a new window.
You can also enter /uberconference as a command in the message field to send an invite.
Join a Conference (Participant)
Dialpad users receive UberConference invites in the conversation thread view. Select Join Call and UberConference opens in a new window.
Non-Dialpad users receive UberConference invites via text. It will include the URL, dial-in number, and PIN (if required).
