Enable Dialpad for Salesforce Lightning

Install Lightning

Salesforce Lighting is currently available on Pro and Enterprise accounts

To package install Salesforce Lightning for all users:

  1. Select Dialpad for Salesforce from the AppExchange
  2. Click on Install for All Users then Install

Enable Open CTI for your App

Before you can enable the integration, you'll need to select the Lightning app you want to enable with Dialpad.  Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the App Manager
  2. Select each Lighting app you want to enable with Dialpad
  3. Select Edit
  4.  Select the Utility Bar>Add>Open CTI Softphone
  5. Rename the Open CTI Softphone as Dialpad
  6. Click Save and Done to complete

Make sure that the app is assigned to the user profiles of the users you want to enable. 

Enable Lightning

Once the package has installed, you'll have the option to enable the Lightning integration for individual users or your entire team. Here's how:

  1. Click on Set Up>Set Up Home
  2. Navigate to Administration>Users>Users
  3. Check individual users or select all from the list

  1. On the user page, click Edit
  2. Scroll down to Call Center and click the magnifying glass
  3. Select Dialpad Lightning

Uninstall Lightning

To uninstall the Salesforce Lightning integration:

  1. Navigate to Apps>Installed Packages
  2. Next to Dialpad for Salesforce, click Uninstall
  3. On the Uninstall screen, select Do Not Save a Copy...
  4. Click Uninstall
