Remove or reassign a desk phone

Remove a User Phone

  1. Admin navigates to Office>Desk Phones
  2. Enter the team member's name into the search field
  3. From the results, click Remove next to the team member's name

Remove a Room Phone

  1. Admin navigates to Office>Desk Phones>Room Phones
  2. Enter the room phone's name into the search field
  3. From the results, click Remove next to the room phone

Reassign a User Phone

  1. Follow the steps to remove a desk phone from a user account
  2. Power cycle the desk phone
  3. After the phone comes back online, click Add User Phone
  4. Follow the same provisioning steps as before

Reassign a Room Phone

  1. After pulling up the phone from search, select Edit
  2. Select a different caller ID from the drop-down menu

Beyond removing and reassigning room phones, Office Admins can also adjust their room phones:

  • Name
  • Registered E911 Location
  • Outbound caller ID
  • International calling access
