# SMS Traffic Export

Export and analyze your company’s SMS and MMS traffic to discover messaging trends and ensure you stay compliant with local regulations.

It's like checking your phone's call history to see who you talked to and when!

Let’s dive into the details.

**Who can use this**

Company Admins on all plans can export SMS traffic reports.

## Export messaging traffic

To export your SMS and MMS traffic, head to your **Dialpad Admin Settings.**

1. Select **My Company**
2. Navigate to **SMS Management**
3. Select **SMS Settings**
4. Choose the desired date range

That’s it! Dialpad will email the SMS Traffic Export to your inbox.

### Messaging export data

Dialpad will send you a CSV report containing the following data:

| License | Dialpad license type. | Ai Voice |

| TargetKind | Name of the target: - User. - Contact Center. - Department. | User Profile |
| MessageType | SMS or MMS. | SMS |
| MessageDirection | Message direction: - Inbound. - Outbound . | Outbound |
| FromSender | Phone number of sender. | (123) 456-7894 |
| ToReceiver | Phone number of recipient. | (123) 456-7894 |
| MessageDate | Date the message was sent. | 2023-09-28 |
| RecievedTimeStamp | Time the message was received. | 2023-09-28 07:54:01 |
| SentTimeStamp | Time the message was sent. | 2023-09-28 07:54:01 |
| DateAnonymized | Date the message was anonymized (removed) | 2023-09-28 |
| Timezone | Timezone of the sender’s office. | US/Pacific |
| MessageSegments | The number of segments the carrier broke the message into when sending. | 2 |
| CountryOrigin | Country of the sender. | US |
| CountryDestination | Country of the recipient. | US |
| Status | The Status column is translated into the language set by the user in the app. Delivery Status: - Sent - Delivered - Failed - Pending - Undelivered + explanation | Undelivered - Spam content |
| RegistrationStatus | A2P registration status. | Registered |

> Note
> 
> Inbound SMS will display a blank delivery status in the exported data. Message status only applies to outbound SMS.
