Make an International Call

To make international calls, you need to enable international calling by adding value to your account through Dialpad.com. Once enabled, team members can place international calls. However, calling outside your office designation may incur additional costs. You can check the current rates on the website. To make international calls from the Desktop App, enter ' ' followed by the country code and number. From the Mobile Apps, long press '0' to enter ' ', then input the country code and number. From a Desk Phone, dial '011' followed by the country code and number. For more information, refer to the International Services section.
Call internationally, just as you would call a local number!
Let's take a look at how international calling works.
Enable International Calling
Before you can place an international call, you will first need to enable international calling.
- Head to Dialpad.com and select Admin Settings
- Click Billing (on the sidebar menu)
- Click Calling Credits
- Select Add Value
- Select one of the available $ amounts
- Confirm the changes to your account
Once the request has been processed, your team members will be able to place an international call.
You won't need to enable int'l calling for any calls you receive to via Dialpad.
International calling rates
If you are in an international office calling any other country outside your office designation, be aware there will be an additional cost (this is why you've purchased calling credits).
You can always check our current rates by visiting dialpad.com/rates.
International calls from the Desktop App
Type '+' followed by the country code and number you wish to call.
International calls from the Mobile Apps
Navigate to the dialer and long press '0' to enter '+'. Then enter the country code and number you wish to call.
International calls from a Desk Phone
Pick up the handset, then dial '011' followed by the country code and number you wish to call.
