## **How long will it take?**

The standard lead time (SLT) for a port request is:

- 9 business days for geographic numbers The standard porting time window is 10 AM to 12 PM.

*Additional time is added if there is a rejection for missing/incorrect information.*

## Porting requirements

Number portability for all number types is available via the larger operators but not available with all operators. Please enquire with the current number operator whether porting away is possible via them.

- The invoice must show the main number for the account.
- Luxembourg numbers can vary in length and may include a main number plus extensions.
- Check with your current carrier which extensions are included in the number range.
- Request extensions in full blocks only: 0–9, 00–99, or 000–999.
- Cancel any unused extensions after provisioning.

## Possible port rejection reasons

While we do our best to prevent it, it does sometimes happen that a port request is rejected. The most common rejection reasons are noted below. As you can see, details matter and this is why we ask you to triple-check all the information you provided before submitting your port request.

- Incorrect end user name
- Mismatched account holder details
- The wrong number was submitted, such as an extension instead of the main number.

## Porting checklist

- LOA is filled out, dated, and signed
- Latest invoice from your current carrier (dated within the last 3 months).
- Make sure the invoice shows the main number.
- Include the customer account number on the LOA.
- Confirm the main number and any associated extensions with your current carrier.
- Request extensions in full blocks only.
- You’ve provided a desired port date in compliance with the SLT (*Dialpad will do its best to meet this date, but there is no guarantee*.) If no date is provided, we will port the numbers ASAP
