# HubSpot Migration Guide

We're making the move from HubSpot V1 to V2 to give you better features and a smoother experience.

New customers already have HubSpot V2 by default, and existing customers must manually update by April 10, 2026. After that, we'll automatically switch everyone over.

Let’s dive into the details.

## Reminders before migration

- Migration includes your existing contact matching data between Dialpad and HubSpot to keep things in sync.
- You can use the Dialpad app while the update runs.
- You'll receive notifications from Dialbot and email once the update succeeds or fails.
- All agents will need to reconnect to HubSpot individually after the migration is complete.

> The HubSpot migration usually takes anywhere from a few minutes to an hour. It’s best to run the update after office hours since some calls might not be logged during the process.

> To avoid any disruptions, we recommend updating early so you can choose the best time and ensure a smooth transition for your team.

Migrating to the new HubSpot gives you new features and helps keep your data clean, so you can get more out of your Dialpad + HubSpot integration.

### Improvements

- You can now create contacts without needing an email.
- No more duplicate contacts from unknown numbers.
- We’ve removed automatic contact creation or unknown numbers to improve data accuracy.

## Migrate to the new HubSpot integration

You can initiate the migration in two ways

- Using the HubSpot migration banner
- Manual update in the Integration Settings

### Migrate using the banner

To update to the new HubSpot, head to your Dialpad app

2. Review the information provided
3. Select **Start Update for Company** to begin the migration

## Migrate in Integration settings

To update to the new HubSpot through the Integration settings

1. Go to **Company Settings** > **Integrations**

2. Navigate to **HubSpot**
3. Select **Options** > **Update**
