Need to enable click2call on your in-house web app? Dialpad users can either opt to use our Chrome Extension or, if you have the resources, can create telephone links.
Option | Format | Works From | Works With |
---|---|---|---|
URL | https://dialpad.com/launch?phone=+14155555555 OR https://dialpad.com/launch?phone=+14155555555|1 | All Platforms | Dialpad Native Apps Dialpad Chrome App |
Dialpad Prompt | dialpad:+14155555555 OR dialpad:+14155555555|1 | All Platforms | Dialpad Native Apps |
Tel Prompt | tel:+14155555555 OR tel:+14155555555|1 | All Platforms | Dialpad Native Apps |
The "|1" allows click2call instead of click2click2call (where the Dialpad app dials the # automatically). This currently only works with Chrome.
Phone number formats can be anything as long as they're compatible with the Country format of the Dialpad Office.
Note
Dialpad CTI does not support using multiple tabs.
We know you love using CTIs, but for the best experience, we recommend using the Dialpad Desktop App and Dialpad Everywhere.
