    Let's take a look at what's new from our most recent release on December 17, 2024.

    Improvements

    Call recording behavior improvement

    To improve consistency, we've simplified how call recordings are handled after transfers. Calls will be recorded if the receiving line has recording enabled. This change applies to all plan types and transfers, including those outside Contact Centers.

    Contact Center ring duration improvement

    All incoming Contact Center calls now follow the Contact Center's ring duration settings, overriding individual agents' personal ring duration preferences.

    Download call recording improvement

    You can now easily download all call recording segments from transferred calls right from the Conversation History. Don’t worry—your download permissions will still align with your user access settings.

    Transfer interaction improvement

    Transfer an active conversation and select who you’d like to transfer the interaction to by searching for the name, Contact Center or skillset.

    Critical bug fixes

    Transfer call bug

    Some users reported that they were unable to transfer calls to another Contact Center. This has been fixed!

    Contact label bug

    A few users reported that their contact labels went missing after updating the app. We've fixed this.

    Other improvements

    We've also fixed some minor bugs and behind-the-scenes functionality, improving your overall experience with Dialpad.
