Dialpad Meetings Android Release Notes 23.11.18

Dialpad Meeting's Android app is designed to live at the center of your business communications, and we're always rolling out product updates containing new features, improvements and bug fixes. 

We're currently on app version 9.4 — be sure to update your app to take advantage these latest features. 

Let's take a look at what's new in this Android app release for November 18, 2023.

Improvements

Unmute others setting

You can now prevent or allow others from unmuting participants during a meeting. 

This option is also available to users during a meeting, and in your team settings.

Call summary avatar

We have updated the avatar shown on the call summary when a participant joins a meeting from a conference room. You'll now see it displayed as a desktop icon, with the room name and location listed beside it.

Critical bug fixes

Disabling video bug

Some users reported that the app crashes when disabling the video during a meeting. This has been fixed!

Screen share bug

A few users reported that the shared screen became black while in a meeting for mobile participants. We've fixed this.

Other improvements

We've also fixed some minor bugs and behind-the-scenes functionality, improving your overall Dialpad Meetings experience.
