# Dialpad Release Notes 24.09.03

## New

### Assign step

We've added a new [IVR Workflow step](https://help.dialpad.com/v1/docs/en/ivr-workflow-steps#assign)! The Assign step creates or updates variables to store information during the call, allowing for greater personalization.

## Critical bug fixes

### Call participants bug

Some users reported that Office Admins were unable to search for contacts using the [call participants filter in the web call history](https://help.dialpad.com/v1/docs/en/using-call-history#call-participant-filter).**This has been fixed!

### Local presence bug

A few users reported that [local presence](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/local-presence#use-local-presence-as-a-contact-center-agent) was not working and was defaulting to their number.**We've fixed this.

### Agents status bug

Some users reported that agent statuses were displayed in the wrong order when [sorted under the 'Monitor All Contact Centers](https://help.dialpad.com/v1/docs/en/monitor-all-contact-centers#agent-status-filter)' view. This has been fixed!

## Other improvements

We've also fixed some minor bugs and behind-the-scenes functionality, improving your overall experience with Dialpad.
