Let's take a look at what's new from our most recent release on ***December 19, 2023***

## New

### Ai Agent Assist

We’re thrilled to announce Ai Agent Assist, a next-generation virtual assistant for contact center agents that puts knowledge at their fingertips.

Harnessing the power of Dialpad's advanced semantic search capabilities and Generative AI, Ai Agent Assist delivers on-demand, natural answers to agent questions so they can offer faster, more effective service. This translates into shorter resolution times, more productive agents, and improved customer satisfaction.

## Improvement

### Reserve number office identification

Your [reserved number](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/remove-local-toll-free-or-secondary-numbers#what-happens-when-i-remove-a-number) section now shows which specific office the number was associated with.

### Delay greeting time

You can now set a [delay greeting](https://help.dialpad.com/v1/docs/en/set-call-routing-rules-for-contact-centers#hold-greeting) for 30 seconds to keep callers active while they wait in the hold queue.

## Critical bug fixes

### Password bug

Some users reported that they could change their Dialpad password without meeting the [password requirements](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/change-or-reset-your-password#password-requirements).**This has been fixed!

### Block a contact bug

A few users reported that they were logged out, and the app was rebooted when they tried to [block a contact or mark it as spam](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/block-a-number#block-a-number).**We've fixed this.

### Role permission bug

Some users reported that [role permissions](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/admin-permissions-in-dialpad#office-administrator) weren't updating correctly when removed. This has been fixed!

## Other improvements

We've also fixed some minor bugs and behind-the-scenes functionality, improving your overall experience with Dialpad.
