    We're always rolling out updates that contain new features and capabilities to ensure customers get the most of Dialpad.

    Update your desktop app, or visit Dialpad's web portal to take advantage of the latest additions. You'll also discover some bug fixes to improve reliability. Dialpad's desktop app and web portal are made to live at the center of your business communications.

    Let's take a look at what's new in this release for Sept 2nd, 2022.

    New

    Ai Voice

    • Status update picker | Your status selection just got that much easier! Dialpad now saves your most recently used custom statues so you don't have to type them out again. Simply click on the empty text box and the drop-down menu will automatically populate with your favorite statues.

    Messaging

    • Editing Messages | Get rid of typos or inconsistent messages by editing them in 1:1 and group conversations (desktop and mobile). Your message will be instantly updated, and you’ll even see an ‘Edited’ stamp underneath the message.

    • Emoji reactions Add humor and delight to your conversations with emoji reactions! Emoji reactions can be used in internal 1:1 and group messages (desktop and mobile)

    Contact Center

    Australian service improvement | We now allow offices in the AU to create SMS-based surveys 

    Dialpad Ai

    Spanish Ai | Dialpad's incredible Ai is now available in Spanish! Customers in the US and Mexico now have access to live and post-call transcripts, Realtime Assist cards, and Custom Moments for Spanish.

    Critical Bug Fixes

    SMS Shared Line Glitch | Some users reported that when viewing SMS messages on a shared line, the conversation history, the sender thread disappeared and required a refresh of the app to make it reappear. This has been fixed.

    We've also fixed some minor bugs, improving your overall experience with Dialpad.
