# Dialpad Meetings Release Notes 24.08.09

Let's take a look at what's new from our most recent release on ***August 9, 2024**.*

## New

### Expanded language support

We're happy to announce that [Dialpad Meetings now supports more languages](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/ivr-and-voicemail-language#ivr-and-voicemail-language-availability)! With this update, Dialpad Meetings now supports German (Deutsch ), Portuguese (Português), Chinese (中文), and Dutch (Nederlands).

## Improvement

### More IVR, voicemail, and Ai language settings

Dialpad Meeting users with linked Dialpad accounts can now [choose their preferred language directly from their Dialpad Settings](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/ivr-and-voicemail-language#set-ivr-and-voicemail-language-individual-users).

## Critical bug fix

### Timer banner bug

Some users reported that the [timer banner](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/meeting-countdown-timer#set-meeting-countdown-timer) overlapped the view button in other languages. This has been fixed!

## Other improvements

We've also fixed some minor bugs and behind-the-scenes functionality, improving your overall Dialpad Meetings experience.
