# Dialpad Meetings Release Notes 24.01.16
.png) Dialpad Meeting's desktop app is designed to live at the center of your business communications and we're always rolling out product updates containing new features, enhancements and bug fixes.
Let's take a look at what's new from our most recent release on ***January 16, 2024***
## Critical bug fixes
### Meeting timer bug
Some users reported that the [meeting timer](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/meeting-countdown-timer) displayed more time than the remaining duration during meetings.**This has been fixed!
### Accepting participants bug
A few users reported that their meeting ended abruptly after the organizer [accepted participants in the waiting room](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/adjust-your-meetings-settings#autolock-waiting-room).**We've fixed this.
### Layout view bug
Some users reported that chat bubbles weren't visible for room device users using a [layout view](https://help.dialpad.com/docs/using-video-with-dialpad-meetings#change-video-layout). This has been fixed!
